You know when you have one of those moments where you are in a small group of people you don’t know and the question comes up “so, what do you do?” You just freeze up because you don’t want to admit you just quit something … well tonight, almost the entire table had quit everything they had been doing for years!
As a group we declared WE WERE QUITTERS!! And man did it feel fabulous … quitting is another one of those words that has a negative connotation because it tends to mean defeat. This post is about quitting because it means success in one form or another.
For us the success was making the decision that the projects or businesses we were each involved in was not feeding us as people and take the bold step to say NO MORE … quit it all … and sit in the discomfort and excitement of what comes next. If you don’t quit the stuff that isn’t working for you then the chances of seeing the opportunity of a lifetime is slim to none!

Now I’m at the end of that career and have said “I quit” to all of it – I’m free to explore.
I’m officially in free fall, not sure what the next chapter of my career/life will be or how it’s going to get paid for but can’t wait to finish out the last few pieces of client contracts and open myself up to opportunity … what’s next?
