It’s early 2009 and the media is full of gloom and doom, so I hear.  I don’t actually read the newspapers or watch the news; why, you ask?  It fills your head with the perspective of whatever the media wants you to believe.  AND, if it’s REALLY important I’ll hear about it through friends and twitter.  I’d rather spend my time staying on top of the field that makes my income: Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.

By focusing my energy on the positive and staying proactive about the Internet Market and successful strategies, I have seen my business continue on an upward climb.  On top of that I keep having more great ideas to expand my business.  The Internet isn’t going anywhere, which means doing business on the Internet is only going to get bigger each year.  Yeah, the economy is in a different space than it was 2 years ago.  Look at the historical trend, we have gone through a recession of some sort every 10-12 years … we can’t be surprised it’s here again!

We have a growing number of older people that have the disposable income, and a lot of them have trouble getting out of their homes to shop.  So guess where they go?  That’s right, more and more of them are going online and learning how to navigate the Internet and shop.  Can you find a niche in that?

The rest of us live on the Internet already, so it is natural for us to go online first to research and find products and services. I don’t know about you but I don’t leave home without some gadget that connects me to the Internet, whether it be my PDA phone or my laptop.  Ask me a question and I can usually find the answer in under 30 seconds.  : )

I love the Internet, it has so much potential in giving people the opportunity to live a life of freedom at any age. 

You don’t have to wait until your 65, or whatever age you plan on retiring.  My latest niche idea will be added to this very blog as premium content.  In teaching individuals how to become successful online it has come to my attention that the struggle they have after working together is staying on top of the ever-changing landscape of the field.  So check this out:

I already attend the SEO conferences and follow the top Internet marketers in the industry, so I will open up all that information to you through a premium content section of this blog.  There will be tutorials on how to get started, as well as blog postings on how to take any online business to the next level with postings from every event I attend and additional postings each time I find a new tidbit from an industry leader.
