The blog is back online, since I blew off posting I didn’t even realize that the blog had gone down until a couple weeks ago. Since my last blog post in June of 2009, after leaving a huge project in Phoenix, I have spent the last 9 months completely ingrossed in restoring my old sailboat.
I lost all my comments from my previous blog, which is a huge bummer … people really relate to this concept and I can’t wait to speak about it more at the Phoenix Ignite March 30th, 2010.
Now it’s definitely time to get back in to the events of my life and balance it all out a little more, lessons learned: sometimes when you emmerse yourself completely in to someone elses project you can lose track of who you really are. And it isn’t as easy as I thought to just go back to life the way it was … because you’ve changed through the journey.
There is still opportunity along the way, to learn about yourself, find new dreams, build new relationships and create new business adventure. It’s still my life … you just can’t lose track of that fact! Only I can give it away …

Hi Emily, just watched the video from your presentation at Ignite Phoenix. YOU KILLED IT! That was so on point for where I am right now in my life. I am a recently unemployed licensed architect in Phoenix. I spend way too much of my time during the day looking for jobs that I don’t really want in between caring for my babies, when what I really should be doing is brainstorming on doing what I want for a change. It’s scary, but so was my “free fall to Phoenix from Ohio” in 1997 right after graduating from Kent State. I wouldn’t be so afraid if I didn’t have passengers this time, but then again, I do like a good game of poker every now and then. I think I should just go all in! You rock! Very inspiring!
WOW!! Thanks, reading your comment was inspiring to me as well! I look forward to hearing about your journey, keep coming back.
